Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing computerized infant hearing screenings under the direction of the Newborn Hearing Screening Program Director and/or the Program Coordinator. **Job Requirements** In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + Newborn Hearing Screening Training Curriculum (NCHAM) certification within 6 months of hire + BLS required from the American Heart Association + High School diploma or GED required + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English + Basic computer skills + Previous customer service experience preferred Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) **Where You'll Work** The Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Francis Hospital, an achieved Magnet® hospital, contains 46 private rooms that can care for 52 babies, as early as 23 weeks old. Our department has two couplet rooms in the NICU where qualifying moms and late-preterm babies can be admitted together for their care. We care for neonates and infants up to 44 weeks of age and we do not get any overflow patients. Our department offers great teamwork, opportunities for growth, advancement of skills and also extracurricular activities with the team.
